Thank you for another fabulous fortnight at Le Pigeonnier. Once again we have enjoyed the lovely gite and countryside. On this trip we discovered new places to visit and new sights to see. A heavenly retreat where we have been able to recharge our batteries.

Our sixth visit – just as perfect! Managed nine walks, followed the pilgrims way in parts, walked along the Chemin d’halage towards St Cirq Lapopie – quite spectacular with cliff overhangs. Fantastic meals out, as usual, and interesting markets.
Le Pigeonnier – D & AH, Stratford upon Avon, June, 2013
Charmed by Le Vert, Le Pigeonnier and our hosts! The cottage was extremely comfortable and the beds were the best we have had in France. We catered for ourselves so can enthuse about Le Pigeonnier’s facilities. Altogether a super and relaxing fortnight, which we would very much like to repeat.
Le Pigeonnier – D &LC and MW, Cambridgeshire, May, 2013
A lovely week in this peaceful spot. Enjoyed local walks and runs, visits to markets and towns, but most of all I enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful surroundings and unwinding – just what I needed!
Le Pigeonnier – RF, Worcester, May 2013
We’ve had a lovely, peaceful holiday – thank you for your friendly welcome and such comfortable accommodation. We particularly enjoyed visiting Rocamadour, St Cirq Lapopie, and markets at Montcuq and Cahors. The children enjoyed lots of table tennis. Hope to come back again.
Le Pigeonnier – Brown Family, York, April 2013
We’ve had a great time here. The weather has been fantastic, and the house and area are fabulous (we would love to return next year). All of the local lakes were very good for the children.

Lovely cottage in peaceful surroundings. Ideally situated for touring the area.
Le Pigeonnier – H & RS, Wilts and L & BS, Somerset, 2012
To think we may never have found this place … a random internet search, a late cancellation … and it was ours for a week! Follow Jackie and Roger’s recommendations for markets - all excellent and we’ve feasted grandly on local produce cooked in this superbly equipped kitchen and eaten ‘en plein air’ with nightly entertainment from the swifts.
Le Pigeonnier – J & B, Brighton, 2012
What a lovely place this is, and the surrounding area is so beautiful. Our 2 year old son loved the lake at Montcuq so much that we have spent most of our days there; a small beach with soft white sand, very warm, shallow water, perfect for small children, and a shady, grassy slope for picnics.
Le Pigeonnier – S, B & F, Rye, E Sussex, 2012
Everyone needs ‘time to dawdle a bit. To remember each day. To notice its passing’. Le Pigeonnier is the place for this. A comfy house, lovely view and shady trees to sit under when the sun beats down.
