Funny, isn’t it, how a place can get under your skin? Le Vert does that and before you know it you want to come back … and back. Jackie chastises us for never writing anything in the Visitors’ Book but it’s difficult to write things when leaving is the last thing we want to do.
La Loge – A & EF – Warwickshire – May 2017
We both feel refreshed and revitalised after two weeks in this lovely place. Gorgeous Autumn weather. We stayed in La Loge last year for the first time and really enjoyed it but it’s lovely to be back in Le Pigeonnier after an interval of 4 years. We like the few changes but glad there aren’t too many! Just love the views. Love everything!
Le Pigeonnier – JT & DB – London – October 2017
Once again a lovely holiday at Le Vert! Weather excellent, scenery unchanged, lovely home, all as before. We enjoyed a riverside picnic and fireworks at Puy l’Eveque, people-watching at Montcuq Market, long walks and saw a young deer on each occasion, Concerts, a huge Vide Grenier at Montcabrier, and wine-tasting. Next year definitely!

Gite is perfect – everything you need is here – very, very comfortable beds and the scenery is beautiful. So many lovely places to visit in this part of France. Fantastic weather, fantastic food and nice people. Great holiday.
Le Pigeonnier – B, L & MG – High Wycombe – July 2017
We have had two wonderful weeks here in Le Pigeonnier with the comforts of home and the excitement of a new area to explore. We have been so comfortable here in the house and are impressed with the attention to detail in the decoration and all the facilities. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the Markets, bathing at the Lake at Montcuq, day trips to Figeac and Albi, and then having our evening meals outside with the amazing panorama and watching the wildlife. We are really sad to be leaving but have many happy memories to take with us and hope to be back.

We have had our usual marvellous time – despite the sadness of our sons not being able to join us as we had hoped and planned because of the BA debacle. We still hope to be able to show them this wonderful place some day – and I’m sure they will come to appreciate it just as we have.

We have greatly enjoyed our 5th visit to La Garenne. Our first stay at La Loge has been just as enjoyable as our previous stays at Le Pigeonnier. The lovely large living room is great to relax in and the courtyard feels surprisingly cosy and private when you’re sitting out.

This has been our first visit to the Lot Region and we have thoroughly enjoyed it. We have had a very relaxing fortnight based at the very comfortable La Loge. Jackie and Roger supplied us with all the information we needed to explore this beautiful area.
