We managed a couple of walks from here, which were very well sign-posted, a bike ride around the vineyards near Prayssac, and one along the Canal du Midi from Moissac.  We had our own bikes but they are available for hire at both locations.  Gite was lovely and we have plans to return one day soon as there is so much to see and do in the area.

Le Pigeonnier  –  S, S, B & AH  –  Kent  –  May 2016

Once again we have spent a very happy holiday at Le Pigeonnier, visiting old favourites like Lauzerte and Cahors, and also seen some stunning new places like Moissac, Tournon and Penne d’Agenais.

This holiday contains everything that all good holidays should:  Peace, beauty, wonderful nature, nice people and constant stimulation of interest.

Le Pigeonnier  –  M & AO  –  Alcester  –  May 2016

We have enjoyed a lovely, relaxing week, particularly sitting outside reading and enjoying the beautiful view.  We’ve eaten lots of lovely treats from the Markets at Montcuq, Prayssac and Cahors, walked along the River Lot and done lots of cycling around the country lanes.

Le Pigeonnier  –  A, J, J, E & AB  –  Yorkshire  –  April 2016

The serenity of the countryside and this lovely haven in its midst has been the best tonic after a very busy 2015. We were forced to relax and enjoy the peace, the fresh air, the lovely walks, food and wine, and the most amazing sunny, warm weather for this time of year.

La Loge – F & N, London – Christmas 2015

Another fabulous stay in La Loge and La Petite Maison (Aunt and Uncle). Too many years to mention! Various members of the family flew out to join us at different times. See you next year!

La Loge/La Petite Maison – K & DB, etc – Belfast –  September 2015

Here we are again for what must be our 5th stay at La Loge and La Petite Maison and it has, as always, been wonderful. We have 1 yr old grandson and his parents with us for the first time and he has loved it all. Had a glorious few hours in Kayaks from Juillac and we’ve had lots of fun at the lake at Montcuq as well as enjoying local vineyards and eating out in the Courtyard each evening.

La Loge/La Petite Maison – L, J & JO, A, C & AS – Bucks, Scotland, York – August 2015

We had a fantastic time enjoying the beautiful wonders of the local area. Canoeing and cycling along the Lot from Juillac, having lunch along the way. Dinners outside on the covered Terrace were wonderful. The Loge is worth a visit.

La Loge – C, S, A & JJ – Dublin – August 2015

This is our first trip to this area and even at dusk the setting blew us away. It’s a little piece of heaven. A beautiful house in a breathtaking environment. Thank you for your advice on where to visit and what to do during our stay – Rocamadour, St Cirq Lapopie, Padirac Caves, Montcuq Market, Lauzerte Soiree Gourmande. Can’t wait to come back.

La Loge – D & SJ, J (8) & J (5 months) – Northumberland, August 2015

Another lovely stay – this time in La Loge and La Petite Maison. We have been very comfortable and taken full advantage of eating outside.

La Loge/La Petite Maison – J & IN, P & AN, Hertfordshire, July 2015

Having stayed at La Loge in 2013, we decided to pay a return visit to fit more in so came back for 3 weeks this time.
